Introducing The Lunenburg County Fiddlers Club
The Lunenburg County Fiddlers are a fiddle club located on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. They formed in 1988 to gather local musicians together to have fun playing fiddle tunes. They meet in Bridgewater twice a month. The main focus is just to get together play and enjoy the music.
In recent years the club has broadened its scope to embrace many variations in fiddle styles and traditions. However, Down East style fiddle music remains their main focus. They are also big promoters of local music talent, and many of their members are not only fiddle players, but music composers as well.
